dialmon - display Dialup IP statistics

SYNOPSIS

dialmon [ -g ] [ -l line ] [ -p ] [ -t g|line ] [ host ]

DESCRIPTION

Dialmon accepts the following flags:

Display site-global statistics; this is the default.
-l line
Display the statistics about line number line.
-p
Use a pipe to connect to the server by doing a fork and exec on the local host.
-t g
Display the total statistics for the site-global data.
-t line
Display the total statistics for line number line.

Once the program is running, the following commands are accepted:

?
Display help.
L
Redraw the screen.
g
Display site-global statistics.
h
Display help.
l line
Display statistics about line number line.
q
Quit.
r y
Reset the totals to zero.
r n
Reset the totals to what they were at the last reboot.
t g
Display the total statistics for the site-global data.
t line
Display the total statistics for line number line.

Note that dialmon may hang waiting for the nameserver to resolve the destination addresses of the interfaces; make sure there are inverse-pointer records. On a Sun, if the destination address is a broadcast address, an adb of the kernel may be required.
